Terms and Conditions Taif Travel

Plan your spiritual journey with comfort & peace of mind

1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

By booking a Tour, Flight, Accommodation, Travel Advice, or any service with Taif Travel, you agree to accept and abide by our Terms & Conditions. Please review them thoroughly before proceeding.

The company reserves the right to update or amend these terms at any time without prior notice. Upon receiving your tickets, check them carefully and contact us immediately if you notice any inaccuracies. We are not liable for any issues resulting from failure to report incorrect details.

All details are provided in good faith, based on information from our suppliers at the time of booking. If there are any changes, you will be notified promptly. Please ensure your travel documents are valid and in order.

2. Tickets Policy

We advise passengers to reconfirm flights 72 hours before departure. Tickets are non-changeable and non-refundable (conditions may apply). Prices are not guaranteed until tickets have been issued.

Taif Travel is not liable for flight delays or cancellations due to weather, industrial action, or airline issues. If the operator fails to fulfill their obligations, we will assist in finding alternative solutions. Adequate travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Any fare difference resulting from changes to flight tickets, hotels, or transport will be the customer’s responsibility.

3. Hotels Policy

Taif Travel reserves the right to offer alternate hotel options if the chosen hotel is unavailable. Hotel prices may change until full payment is made. All bookings are subject to availability.

4. SAFI Excluded Airlines

The following airlines are not covered by Schedule Airline Failure Insurance (SAFI): Air Nigeria, LAB Airlines, Sky Europe, Nordic Airways, Caribair Airline, Air Jamaica, Air Comet, Olympic Airlines, Frontier, Silverjet, ZOOM, Air Senegal, Cabo Verde Airline, OZ Jet, Aviacsa, Bellview, My Air, KD Avia, Air Slovakia, and Ghana Airways.

Taif Travel does not accept responsibility for any financial loss if the airline fails to operate. Passengers flying with these airlines assume full responsibility and are advised to take separate travel insurance.

5. Deposits Policy

Deposits secure only your seat, not the fare. To avoid fare increases, complete your payment as soon as possible. A 50% deposit of the total amount is required to confirm a booking. Prices remain subject to availability.

6. Passports and Visa Policy

Passports must be valid for a minimum of six months beyond your return date. It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure all visa and passport requirements are met. Consult the relevant embassy for the latest travel regulations.

Customers must provide passport copies for all travelers. Keep extra copies for convenience. All passports should reach Taif Travel at least four weeks before departure with two passport-size photos.

Once received, your documents are uploaded into our Umrah system. The Saudi e-number process may take up to a week, followed by 2–3 weeks of visa processing.

Please note: Visa approval is not guaranteed. Taif Travel is not responsible for embassy delays or related costs, including flight or hotel changes.

7. Baggage Allowance

Baggage allowance varies by airline. We advise confirming your baggage policy directly with the airline prior to travel.

8. Cancellation Policy

Once flight tickets are issued, they are non-refundable. Some tickets may be changeable, depending on the airline’s policy. In case of cancellation before ticket issuance, a 50% administrative fee will be deducted from your deposit.

Refunds for issued tickets and vouchers depend on airline and supplier policies. All hotel and transport vouchers are non-refundable.

9. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with any service received from Taif Travel, please submit your complaint in writing within 21 days of the event or 7 days after returning from your trip. Send your complaint via email to: complaints@taiftravel.co.uk

10. Check-in Times

Check-in at least 3 hours before intercontinental flights and 2 hours before European or domestic flights. Check-in closes 1 hour before departure.

11. Meal Requests

If you require special meals, inform us at booking. We will forward your request to the airline, but availability is not guaranteed.

12. English Law

All agreements between you and Taif Travel are governed by English law. Any issues arising in Saudi Arabia are governed by Saudi law and jurisdiction. You must respect local customs and laws during travel.

13. Mahram & Non-Muslim Policies

Women and children must travel with a Mahram (male guardian). Proof of relationship (marriage or birth certificate) is required. Women above 45 years old may travel without a Mahram if part of a group and provide a notarized no-objection certificate.

Non-Muslim applicants must provide a certificate from a mosque or Islamic center confirming their faith.

14. Non-UK Nationals

Non-UK residents must submit valid residency permits with their visa application.

15. Subject to Availability Policy

All bookings are subject to availability. Taif Travel reserves the right to refuse service at any time. If an agreed service cannot be provided, an alternative option will be offered.

16. Travel Insurance

Passengers must arrange appropriate travel insurance. For group bookings, tickets may be issued anytime as per airline deadlines.

17. Health and Vaccination

All pilgrims must comply with Saudi health regulations. A meningococcal meningitis vaccination certificate is mandatory for Umrah and Hajj travelers, issued between 10 days and 3 years before arrival.

18. Financial Protection

Taif Travel is ATOL-protected (ATOL Number: 10416). This ensures your financial protection in case of supplier insolvency. For verification, visit the ATOL website.

Upon booking, you’ll receive an ATOL Certificate listing what is financially protected and who to contact if issues arise.

19. Disclaimer

Taif Travel strives to ensure all provided information is accurate. However, as we rely on third-party suppliers, we cannot guarantee absolute accuracy. It is your responsibility to review our terms regularly for updates.

We are not responsible for losses due to war, strikes, natural disasters, or airline failures. Personal belongings remain your responsibility at all times.

Hajj and Umrah experiences differ from standard holidays. Due to large crowds and local conditions, unexpected delays or changes may occur. Travelers must be patient and flexible during their journey.

Health, safety, and hotel star ratings are based on Saudi standards. Rooms may accommodate more people than UK norms.

Transportation is provided by third-party operators, and Taif Travel cannot guarantee UK-standard facilities or timings.
